Make Money Online by Flipping Sites

Making Money by Flipping Sites

Introduction

This is not one of the “Don’t work earn money” concept. This article teaches you to earn a lot of money by flipping sites but it has some work involved. The main thing is we are going to make a automated website or more specifically a blog and then going to sell it for a good price. That’s all ;) ...

Getting started

Here is something you need before getting yourself started:

- Domain

This is where you have to be creative before you can start selling your blog. Chose a creative domain name.

- Hosting

Here you have to choose. If you have fund and you want security you can go for the paid ones. Any hosting package will do. Another choice is to choose free one and you can get a load of free hosting from www.freewebspace.net

- File uploading software

Don’t need to buy one because free ones are lying around. Try FileZilla, it's great and user friendly.
That’s all you are going to need to get started. You should start the work straight off.

Start working on the domain

Here is mainly where you have to invest your time. Here is a short and sweet guide to help you do the work swiftly.

1. Install wordpress in your domain. If you have cpanel this use fantastico, if you have php hosting with application installer then install wordpress from there. If you don’t have anything then download wordpress from www.wordpress.com and install it in your domain. I think they have installation guide so you will not have any problem.

2. After you have installed wordpress next thing you have to do is customize the site with different type of templates. You can choose from one of these, they are great looking with great CTR:

You should add the adsense code from your adsense account in the template (or wherever you want) file to make adsense appear in your site.

3. When you have done installing the theme (If you don’t know how to install theme find the installation guide from the wordpress main site) you have to install some plugins to make your site automated.

4. First download Google Sitemap Generator from http://tinyurl.com/2bbwmg .Don’t think it’s an affiliate link. The link is so big that I used tinyurl to short it. Then setup the plug-in in wordpress. Again I will point you to the wordpress main site for the guide to install plug-ins. Go to the plug-in from WP-ADMIN section and activate the plug-in, edit the options to make the plug-in work. When you have done these then 30% of your work is done.

5. Download and install SmartRSS from http://www.devplug.net/smartrss-plugin/ . You can view the installation guide there. Here is a thing you have to note. You'll need to upload smart_rss.php to the plugins folder, and wp_smartrss.php to your blog's home path. Activate the plugin in Wordpress's admin panel, and you are ready to go!

6. Now you have to find a xml source to make your site automated.
Go to www.google.com and enter “your niche site:blogspot.com”.
Replace your niche with your niche like credit card and find a good source to copy. If you find the RSS same with the main site then this is the site for you. Copy the RSS url (Most of the time it is
http://blogname.blogspot.com/rss.xml).

7. Go to your blog and open the WP-ADMIN and go to plug-in section.
Open the options of smartrss and add as many feed as you can.

8. Now go to http://www.yourdomain.com/wp_smartrss.php and if you have your site everything ok then you will find the site full of articles.

9. Well that’s enough but here is an overstep for the ones that have cpanel with cron jobs in it. You will have to setup cron jobs to make the site automated. Try to add some new entries in the cron jobs.
Try to find the path of the file wp_smartrss.php like /user/bin/php/
/home/SEA/public_html/blog/wp_smartrss.php . If you don’t know what the path is try to contact your host they will tell you. Set the cron jobs to run every 15 minutes. That’s all.

10. Now make sure google sitemap is running fine. The problem I had was the plug-in was not finding sitemap.xml . For this case open notepad, keep it empty, save the file with name sitemap.xml and select all files (*.*) from the dropdown menu. Upload it in your domain and you are done.

That’s all you have to do in order to make your site automated. Now your domain is ready and ready to be sold.

Selling the domain

That’s the easiest part of all. Just go to DigitalPoint forum’s Buy, Sell and Trade section and find sites from there. Post your offer with attractive title like “WTS | Automated Blog Site | Adsense optimized | High paying keywords”. Try to give specific description and specify a BIN and BID.

Repeat!! Repeat!! Repeat!! Repeat!! Repeat!! Repeat!! Repeat!! Repeat!!

Hehe do as many time as you want.
