It is considered to be the optimal way to make money, since the advertiser is not obliged to pay anything until the advertisement generates the necessary and desired action – which is indicated and determined by the advertiser in the first place.

Advertising network: is a company that plays the role of the medium, connecting the webmasters of sites that host advertisements, with the advertisers who seek to run some of their advertisements. These ad Networks are used by advertisers so as to find publishers and webmasters who are willing to promote their services and offers. In most cases, the networks help advertisers find multiple publishers at once.

When referring to publishers, we refer to people who are simple web owners and marketing people who practice PPC advertising and other promotional and advertising means.
These people apply to the Ad networks so as to locate offers or handle the advertisers’ needs and requirements directly.

In the case that you, as a website owner, do not discuss and do business with an advertiser directly, but you use one of the Ad networks, then you are paid on a monthly or weekly basis by the ad Network, which is paid by the advertiser. The Ad Networks get commissions on all actions, so if you earn 15$ that means that the network got at least 17-18$ per offer.
